All Drawing classes are expected to keep a sketch book.
Students are expected to complete a minimum of one drawing each week from life.
The subject matter is as wide and varied as their own imaginations.
The purpose of this you might ask?
Sketching is about eye-hand coordination.
We see, observe, and then record.
The knowledge and skills learned from sketching are easily transferable to other areas of art and the benefits are immeasurable.
Each student has been provided with paper and a set of sketching pencils, to ensure his or her success!
Sketching is strongly encouraged for all other art classes as well, tho not a required
