Three Rivers Film Slam

 Three Rivers Film Slam
Greetings from the Franklin Opera House!
I'm happy to report that we're starting to receive team entries for our first-ever 48-Hour Student Film Slam, and all area high school and college students are eligible to enter. This is a fun and creative weekend-long process where student teams put together a short film, from start to finish, in 48 hours. The whole thing ends with a public showing of their work, complete with cash prizes. Everyone goes home with something. We’re hoping that this might be something of interest to students in your school, perhaps even the culmination of one of your spring classes.

This event is made possible by a grant from the Madeline G. von Weber Trust, and other sponsors.

Please find attached information about the event, which I kindly request you pass on to the relevant staff member(s) in your school. As mentioned on the information sheet, there is no entry fee for the event, but due to constraints of time and logistics, there is a limit of 10 teams who can register… so it’s first-come, first-served.

Thank you for your attention, and here’s to a great year ahead!
