Good M0rning,
Flu shot parental permission forms will be sent home in early September.  Please ask you teen for this form.  The Flu shot strains have been corrected to meet last years flu along with 3 other strains.  The earlier the better to receive the Flu shot.  Evidence now suggests that the Flu shot will protect you for up to a year.  Those that develop the Flu and have had the Flu shot have less severe symptoms and a quicker recovery time.  It is no longer advised to wait to receive the Flu vaccine.  researchers are getting closer to developing a Flu shot that will cover our lifespan!    Please take advantage of this opportunity and protect your teen.  We will announce the date of the clinic as soon as it is scheduled with MidState.

PLEASE KEEP ME APPRAISED of the changing health care needs of your teen.  Any new or changed doses of medications, injuries or new diagnoses.
Lastly, please keep the main office and I appraised of any change of address, phone numbers or emails.
I look forward to working with you to keep your teen healthy while here at NRHS.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
