What to look for: The classic symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath. What to do if you think you have symptoms of COVID_19: If parents suspect that they or a family member has COVID-19, PLEASE CALL YOUR PHYSICIAN FIRST , or use the New Hampshire DHHS hotline (2-1-1). Please do not go to emergency rooms unless advised by your physician. If a family member becomes ill, self-isolate and follow the instructions on the link provided below. FLU SHOT PARENT PERMISSION FORMS
Good M0rning, Flu shot parental permission forms will be sent home in early September. Please ask you teen for this form. The Flu shot strains have been corrected to meet last years flu along with 3 other strains. The earlier the better to receive the Flu shot. Evidence now suggests that the Flu shot will protect you for up to a year. Those that develop the Flu and have had the Flu shot have less severe symptoms and a quicker recovery time. It is no longer advised to wait to receive the Flu vaccine. researchers are getting closer to developing a Flu shot that will cover our lifespan! . Please take advantage of this opportunity and protect your teen. We will announce the date of the clinic as soon as it is scheduled with MidState. |
Attention Parents of Incoming Grade 9 Students (YOG 2023)
PHYSICAL EXAM is required for all incoming Grade 9 students. This Physical Exam must be completed on or anytime after AUGUST 29,2018. COPY OF IMMUNIZATIONS is also required for your teen. Immunizations must be up to date or have a MD appointment note stating when they will receive the needed dose. MEDICATIONS - New MD order is needed each year for meds to be administered here at school or for student to carry their own Epipen or Inhaler. DISMISSAL FOR ILLNESS - Student must be seen by school nurse so this absence is excused. So if they text you, please send them here and remind them to come here first FREE DENTAL CLINIC - This free service is offered in the Fall and Spring. Please return the permission forms that you will receive this year in the beginning of school packet. PLEASE KEEP ME APPRAISED of the changing health care needs of your teen. Any new or changed doses of medications, injuries or new diagnoses. Lastly, please keep the main office and I appraised of any change of address, phone numbers or emails. Medicaitons for Students during the School Day
Please see below the Medication Authorization Forms for students to have / take medicaiton during the school day. Many over the counter ( OTC) mediations are stocked in the health office for student use, so limit students carrying medications in their backpacks etc. Please see our student handbook for quidelines with medications. If you have questions or concerns about your child and medication, please call or email me directly. |
