Danbury Elementary School

Program Description:
Here at Danbury Elementary School Project Promise, we do all sorts of fun, educational, and experimental activities. We explore different cultures by incorporating them into the clubs we carry throughout the year. We promote better, healthier living in our activities. We offer health-conscious foods for our snack time, as well as in our cooking clubs. We also incorporate some sort of physical fitness activity each day of the week. We have an excellent staff that is always here to help your students to be successful with homework, reading, math, and any other roadblocks that they might run into.

Program Schedule (Monday-Friday):

2:00 – 2:30: Attendance & Recess
2:30 – 2:45: Snack
2:45 – 3:45: Homework/Reading/Journaling
3:45 – 5:00: Enrichment Clubs
5:00 – 5:30:  Stations, Reflections, Cool down

  • You can tell that the children here at Danbury are all very excited to be here. You can tell when all of the kids are engaged, and ready to just jump on in, and the looks on their faces when they get something right or complete an activity.
  • Another highlight at our after school program is getting the kids involved completely. We want our students to have a voice in the program. Kids get to choose the clubs that they would like to participate in, as well as snack options, input on special trips we may go on, and much more!
